Senior QA - Non-Functional
Main Responsibilities
Design and execute performance, load, stress, chaos, and benchmark tests.
Validate infrastructure reliability, scalability, and resilience across cloud and on-premises environments.
Collaborate with functional QA teams to run tests under high-load scenarios.
Integrate non-functional tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation.
Monitor and analyze infrastructure behavior during peak and failure conditions.
Validate infrastructure security configurations, including firewalls, IAM, and network segmentation.
Implement observability tools and automate alerts for proactive issue detection.
Provide insights for accurate environment sizing and configuration optimization.
Requirements
Proficiency in AWS, Azure, or GCP cloud platforms.
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, and/or Ansible.
Solid understanding of networking, storage, load balancers, and infrastructure security.
Strong knowledge of performance testing tools such as JMeter, k6, Gatling, Artillery, or Locust.
Practical experience with chaos engineering tools like LitmusChaos, AWS FIS, or Kube-monkey.
Experience or deep understanding of benchmarking tools like sysbench, stress-ng, or fio.
Familiarity with system hardening and compliance validation techniques.
Experience with observability, monitoring, and automated alerting systems.
